Rhea, capital city of the Kingdom of Cathacus and the crown
jewel of the Four Kingdoms, is descending rapidly into anarchy. Between the opportunists, the gangsters, the
spineless and the apathetic, there seems to be no one who can bring the kingdom
together again. Can seven men save a
city that, for all intents and purposes, may not want to be saved?
Or will they be consumed along with it?

Disclaimer: Many
of the characters herein were originally “borrowed” from the television show The Magnificent Seven owned by MGM,
Mirisch and Trilogy, then warped and reformed as the characters herein. The setting, plot, story, etc, are my own
fevered creations.
Notes: This is the fifth story in this series. In order, they are The Four Kingdoms, After the Fall, The Fay Wars and The Border. You can find all four of these stories by clicking here
Rating: Over 13, as there's violence and some swearing.
This AU is open. You can do whatever
you like in it, I honestly don't mind.
Just let me know.
Oh, and any connection with the myth surrounding the birth of
Rome is, believe it or not, entirely coincidental. There is an irony to the fact that I modeled
the city of Rhea after Rome, then subsequently learned that the real mother of
the twins Romulus and Remus, the ones brought up by the wolf, was named Rhea
(Rhea Silvia, to be exact). Talk about a
funny coinkidink.
